Uses
Dapoxetine (Generic Priligy®) belongs to a group of medicines called "selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors" (SSRIs), used to treat premature ejaculation (PE) in men between 18 and 64 years old.

How to take
Priligy is taken orally about 1 to 3 hours before anticipated sexual activity.
Each Priligy pill consists of 30 or 60 mg of the active ingredient Dapoxetine.
The standard dosage is 30 mg.
If this dosage goes down well with you, but you did not receive any noticeable progress in your situation after regular use, your medical doctor may raise the dose to 60 mg.
Priligy can be taken with or without food.
Since it has a bitter taste, it is recommended to take the tablet with a full along with a glass of water.
Chewing or biting the tablet will unleash a bitter taste in your mouth.
Alcohol is not permitted when taking this product.
Side effects
Some users have been found to suffer side effects when taking Priligy.
Anyone noticing any side effects from taking the drug should inform their doctor as soon as possible, especially if these are severe.
Some of the more common side effects that have been observed in more than 10% patients include
- fainting when standing up
- dizziness
- headaches
- feelings of nausea
Less common effects, affecting less than 10% of users, include
- anxiety, restlessness and feeling irritated

- increased sweating
- general fatigue and constant yawning
- increased blood pressure
- loss of interest in sex, and erectile dysfunction
- nasal congestion
Far less common, are side effects affecting less than 1% of users. These include
- faecal urgency and diarrhoea
- suddenly falling asleep
- dizziness following exertion
All users, are advised to check with their doctor before using the drug, and also at the appearance of any side effects.
Precaution
Priligy Dapoxetine has been tested only in men with premature ejaculation. About effects and side effects in men without premature ejaculation, no data is available.
It is not recommended to take Priligy if you are dehydrated, or have any heart problems.
There are no known drug interactions known to be associated with Dapoxetine at this time.
According to published studies, Dapoxetine can be safely taken with the phosphodiesterase (PDE5) inhibitors tadalafil (Cialis) and sildenafil (Viagra).
Avoid drinking alcohol when you take Dapoxetine dosage.
Do not take Priligy more than once every 24 hours.
Priligy should not be used by either men under the age of 18 or men 65 years or older.
Drug interactions
Priligy should not be administered together with other SSRI drugs or drugs with serotonergic activity.
Since it has a sedative effect, one should not engage in activities that require alertness after consuming Priligy pills.
Missed dose
Only 1 pill should be taken within 24 hours.
Storage
Storage is best at room temperature for 15 to 30 degrees Celsius. Protect from light and moisture.
